Tel Aviv based Ran Salman is a Live Act, DJ and Producer. Starting as a producing duo, under the alias ‘Eastern Spirit‘, with chill-out music and receiving great support in this genre, he nevertheless evolved and opted for a solo career.

Influenced by a broad range of electronic music genres from house, deep house and techno to disco, he created his very own style. Arrangements of spherical melodies and edgy elements, combined with oriental influences from his home country, he is expressing his thoughts and emotions through analog synthesizers, drum machines, bass guitar and even his own voice. Over the years, Ran has gained great support from Agents of Time, Fur Coat, Marc Romboy, Stephan Bodzin, Chris Liebing, Sébastien Léger, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and many more.

In 2014 Ran joined Berlin based label Steyoyoke, with his ‘Fractured Memories’ EP. Ever since, Ran Salman has been consistently releasing under Steyoyoke / Steyoyoke Black label, Click Records Amsterdam, Einmusika / EIN2, Definition:Music and in 2017 he joined Nick Warren’s imprint ‘The Soundgarden’ with his forthcoming EP ‘Nights of Tel Aviv’, Currently after important releases under BOg's ATLANT, Movement Recordings & Beat Boutique to name a few, Ran is currenlty performing his very special LIVE ACTS around the world including his own instruments & tools, as well as DJ sets around the world.
